Focus and Scope

Rural Planning Journal is a journal published by the Postgraduate Program in Rural Area Planning, Sintuwu Maroso University with ISSN xxxx-xxxx (online media). This journal contains articles on the results of Rural Area Planning with a scope (but not limited to):

training and marketing used for community empowerment,
empowerment of SMEs and local communities,
increasing social access,
service activities and application of science and technology to the community by students/university students,
empowerment of regional communities,
education for sustainable development, and
design and implementation of appropriate technology for the community.

Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Peer reviewers have the right to provide some feedback to authors to improve the quality of published manuscripts and editors for editorial policy decisions according to their respective expertise.

Willingness

Peer reviewers must inform the editor of their willingness to review the manuscript for publication. If they are unwilling, the peer reviewer must notify the editor.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts that are reviewed are confidential documents. They must not be communicated to others without the author's permission.

Standard Objectivity

Peer reviewers should adhere to the principles of objectivity and avoid personal criticism of the manuscript author during the review process. All comments should be accompanied by clear and supportive suggestions.

Clarity of References

Peer reviewers are encouraged to provide authors with information about research with relevant literature, or case studies that have not been cited, that have substantial similarity or overlap with the manuscript being reviewed.

Conflict of interest

Peer reviewers are not permitted to use unpublished manuscript materials for personal use without the written consent of the author, under any circumstances. The information and ideas contained in the manuscripts submitted are confidential and must not be distributed or used for personal advantage.
If a peer reviewer has a conflict of interest due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors, institutions, or companies involved in the publication, they are not permitted to evaluate the manuscript.

Publication Frequency

Published twice a year (Mei and Oktober)

Open Access Policy

This journal provides open access, which in principle makes research freely available to the public and will support a greater global exchange of knowledge.
